For me fashion design is more than a material world, it is a mix of art and statement, where you can express yourself. Fashion is also a business where art has a significant role. As a fashion designer I always try to do my best on creating unique, but wearable garments. I look at fabrics like if they were accessories, were one simple pattern designed with a unique fabric can look better than an over design dress. For me, it is essential to create designs in thread and fabric, creating embroidery and fabric manipulations beautiful enough to create a masterpiece. 

 

I start digging for inspiration everywhere, from structural shapes to organic ones. During the research process, I like to study silhouettes, to create unique designs and not just stick with the basic. I admire the shapes and silhouettes designers like Cristobal Balenciaga used during 1960; where just with the design and a unique shape he creates a masterpiece. To create my pieces, I also pass through a thinking process, where I like to create the technical flat and a drawing on how the pattern will be, to guide myself during the whole process. And when it comes the time to sew and drape everything just flows naturally.

 

 My work has grown since 2014 when I decide to do my first portfolio Pur Désir, from then I start to create pieces inspired by many different things. Creating new collections and involving myself in new projects, that make me grow as a designer and challenge myself to be better in what I love.
